George Marechera

George is the Agribusiness Development Manager for AATF, a not for international organization whose mandate is to access and transfer appropriate agricultural technologies for the benefit of smallholder farmers in 25 countries in Africa.  George has been instrumental in developing and implementing innovative and sustainable business models for cassava mechanization for smallholder farmers in Africa. George was the Managing Director of Agridrive Limited, a social enterprise owned by AATF providing mechanization and digital solutions to farmers in SSA.  He is a seasoned business strategist with more than 26 years of international experience in agribusiness, mechanization, technology commercialisation, and inclusive markets and financing covering more than 23 countries. A Zimbabwean national, he holds an MBA from Wolverhampton University (UK), Diploma in Management from Harvard University (USA), and a BSc Honors in Economics degree from the University of Zimbabwe.
